About two-thirds of the island is being preserved and maintained by the Virgin Islands National Park. There is no airport in St. John so it can only be reached by sea. A small town, called as Cruz Bay, offers great gift shops and the best dive centers. For diving enthusiasts, the Truck Bay is an awesome place to enjoy a diving activity. Those looking for unrivalled beach fun should head to the Caneel Bay, a luxurious resort equipped with the best amenities. Dubbed as the second largest island, St Thomas exudes the most cosmopolitan vibe among the chain of islands comprising the US Virgin Islands. Charlie Amalie serves as the island’s capital and is also the main town. The town is teeming with imported goods, making it a very famous shopping hub where stores are beautifully tucked in Danish remodeled warehouses that line the captivating Main Street.
